The Stop Being Invisible Digest is a weekly newsletter providing information, resources, and community input for those within the neurodivergent community.
Distributed every Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. EST, this newsletter aims to unite and amplify the many voices of the neurodivergent community.
Typically, the newsletter is organized into three sections: Actionable Advice, Community Voices, and Service Promotion.
—
Section 01. Actionable Advice
Each edition features an actionable advice article. These pieces are generally between 500-700 words on any topic in the realm of supporting neurodiversity in the classroom, college campus, workplace, and beyond.
The weekly articles are also posted to Stop Being Invisible Digest’s Medium publication.
—
Section 02. Community Voices
It is important to amplify the many voices of the neurodivergent community and share different perspectives from individuals, parents, educators, employers, and professionals alike. The newsletter’s Community Voices section allows members of the neurodiversity community to have an opportunity to provide feedback and analysis and submit their perspectives on certain topics.
Community Voices contributors can either submit an article for the Actionable Advice section or provide Community Feedback, wherein community experts submit a ~200-300 word commentary and/or analysis of the week’s Actionable Advice article.
Past contributors have included: special education teachers, educational psychologists, certified life coaches, parenting advocates, and board certified behavior analysts.
—
Section 03. Services Promotion
In addition to sharing helpful and informative content, each edition provides an opportunity for contributors to promote their professional services, products, speaking engagements, and/or events.
